WOMEn’s Ministry
Life Groups
Most of us are experts at "faking it." We juggle the expectations and the busyness of life so well that we don't even realize we’re suffocating under them. Somewhere along the way, our faith started feeling like another item on the to-do list rather than a saving grace. If you’re tired of overcompensating and pretending everything is fine, know this: you aren't alone. We weren't designed to live enslaved to busyness and expectations. We were made to live free.
The Women's Ministry is excited to launch our new Women's Life Groups centered around Geri Scazzero's transformative book, The Emotionally Healthy Woman. This isn't just another Bible study; rather, it is an invitation to a transformed way of life. It’s a call to quit the very things destroying us—like dying to the wrong things, denying our anger, sadness, and fear, and overfunctioning. This is an invitation to strive for emotional health, not on your own, but together in community. As Pete Scazzero, Geri's husband, says: "It's impossible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature."
Women's Life Groups will begin meeting for eight weeks beginning the week of April 13th and ending on the week of June 1st. Because consistency is imperative to the integrity of this experience, we kindly ask that you commit to being available for at least seven of the eight weeks of gathering.
hosting or leading?
Serving as a Life Group leader doesn’t require you to have a "perfect" spiritual life or be an expert. In fact, we value authenticity over perfection. We’re simply looking for women with a heart to share their lives with humility, facilitate meaningful conversation, and stay on top of the group's logistics. You won’t be doing this alone. The Women’s Ministry team will be right beside you, providing guidance and support every step of the way. Thank you for considering this vital role!
